Chollas Lake Reservoir was built in 1901 to serve San Diego’s water supply

Originally built as a reservoir to supply the city’s water supply, Chollas Lake Reservoir is a recreational park and water source near San Diego. It was converted to a recreational park in 1971 and is open to the public. The park features a basketball court, walking trails, and a fishing lake. Visitors to the park can also enjoy different fun events hosted at the lake.

While it may cost $400000 to line the lake, some residents don’t think that is enough. They argue that lining the lake could damage the stocked fish in the lake. Additionally, officials don’t think that a liner will be enough to stop the leak. Other San Diego County reservoirs are filled with rain, runoff, and treated water. Check Out This Info.
