Cottonwood Three County Park

This park features hiking trails, jogging trails, and a dog park. If you like to bike, you can use the newly-created Cottonwood Grove Trail, which was created by volunteers from the New School for Architecture and Design. Cuyamaca College in Rancho San Diego

The scenic hillside in Rancho San Diego is the perfect setting for Cuyamaca College, which opened in 1978. The campus includes a stunning library and three instructional computer labs. It serves day, evening, and weekend students and is home to the College’s state-of-the-art fitness center. The college offers a number of programs that help students become more efficient and environmentally friendly. The college has a variety of transfer programs to prepare students for their next step. Cuyamaca College maintains articulation agreements with UC and CSU campuses. This trail was recently created by volunteers from the New School of Architecture and Design, and is part of a larger bike trail that eventually stretches from Julian to OB. It intersects with the River Valley Bike Path and includes a beautiful mural. It’s a great place for families to ride bikes and get some exercise. The park’s restrooms are vault-type and are only available in developed day-use areas. Visitors should bring a hat, first-aid kit, and knife. Solid hiking boots are a must. RVs are permitted, but individual water hookups are not.
