Scare trail
The scare trail at The Haunted Amusement… is a spooky trail where visitors can be frightened to death by ghouls, ghosts, zombies and a posse of insane clowns. The original concept for the haunted attraction came from Alpine resident Dustin Parr. After doing some research on the cost of permits and insurance, dozens of volunteers volunteered to make this dream come true.
The redesigned haunted houses and scare zones will bring the spooks back to life, and the Bumper Cars and Ferris Wheel will have a Halloween Hootenanny overlay. Visitors can also check out the new interactive Scare Zone, The Gore-ing 20’s. Other new additions are a Puppet Up: Uncensored, an improved Muppet show from Henson Alternative, and Conjurers, a magic show, at the Bird Cage Theater. The Hanging will be replaced by the Carnaval du Grotesque at the Calico Stage. The Mystery Lodge will have an invitation-to-terror continuous run, and the Wicked Drums will make a return as well. A new haunt is opening in Santa Clarita this year. The Haunted Amusement Park Santa Clarita is the home of the Grim Grinners, which won a Halloween decorating contest in the City of Anaheim last year. Haunted house
The Haunted Amusement Park will be open to the public on Friday, September 28, 2018. This haunted park will feature a Halloween Scare Trail that leads through the abandoned grounds of Marshal Scotty’s Playland. The historic roller coaster and ferris wheel are now gone, but bumper cars still line the grounds. The haunted park will have various actors who will take guests on a scary ride.
The main midway of the Haunted Amusement Park Ridge Hill will have three haunted houses that will scare you. These haunted houses are filled with animatronics and live actors. You can also try your luck at Hatchets, which is a hatchet-throwing game with a haunted twist. For a unique challenge, you’ll want to make it during the Halloween weekend.

The Haunted Amusement Park is located at 14039 Ridge Hill Road in Flinn Springs, unincorporated Redding. It is the perfect place for a scary night out, with a scare trail and haunted houses. The new attraction combines a haunted maze with a scary zone, which you can choose to enter at your own discretion. You’ll find ghosts, zombies, and ghouls roaming the grounds, while a posse of crazy clowns tries to scare you. The haunted amusement park began as an idea by Alpine resident Dustin Parr, who researched insurance and other legal requirements to make the project a reality.
